Oldstone weekend menu 17 & 18 June 2011

Weather forecast…..sunshine and showers all over the weekend period and not particularly warm.

Roads update……..George Street open from the main road as far as the shoppers car park. Still no access from the common and down the “W”. Just to add to the fun I am told by some late arriving customers yesterday that the Avening road is now closed for repairs so if approaching from the Minchinhampton/ Cirencester side the diversions are via Stroud or Tetbury and back along the A46.

Food news….lots of nice produce at the moment…asparagus still good, new potatoes from Devon, berries a plenty, locally grown veg, South coast fish and shellfish, meat from local producers etc. etc.
