Menu for this weekend 22/23 October 2010

Our set price dinner menu includes pre dinner canapes as well as freshly baked bread, unsalted butter , home made houmus and chilled water on your table.

Butternut squash soup
Warm salad of flash roasted local partridge with pear puree
Pan seared scallops, pea shoots and pancetta, lemon dressing
Finely sliced salmon gravadlax with honey mustard dressing
Portabello mushrooms sautéed in garlic butter on pesto toast
Pan fried sea trout fillet, Asian spices and soy dressing
Poached halibut supreme, baby leaf spinach, Champagne cream
Aged local beef fillet with rich Nailsworth brewery ale and onion gravy £3 supplement – sorry!
Roast Barbary duck breast on marmalade and Cognac sauce
Cotswold pork tenderloin, mustard mash and cider reduction
Gratin of Evesham leeks and cannellini beans in ripe tomato and basil sauce
Dark chocolate and salty caramel tart, clotted cream ice cream
Baked cheesecake with spiced apple
Classic crème brulée with fine butter shortbread
Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
