Roasted red pepper soup

Pan fried Cornish mackerel fillet with beetroot relish

Venison sausage on mash with onion and Nailsworth ale gravy

A simple starter of finely sliced oak smoked salmon, crab meat and prawns with lemon mayonnaise

Baked aubergine topped with tomato basil sauce and Parmesan


Roast Cornish monk fish, fennel and crisp pancetta

Plaice fillet pan fried in lemon, parsley and caper butter

Aged local beef fillet “au poivre” £3 supplement – sorry!

Roast Barbary duck breast on dark rum and marmalade jus

Cotswold pork tenderloin with chorizo and paprika cream sauce

Autumn mushroom millefeuille, herb cream sauce, truffle oil


Home grown pear crumble, ice cream and /or cream

Victoria plum crème brulée with fine butter shortbread

Dark chocolate and salty caramel tart, hazelnut ice cream

Four west country cheeses, Bath Olivers and Hilary’s fruit bread
