Oldstone menu for this weekend

Our fish supplier, M & J Seafood of Cirencester, is a member of the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and supporter of the British Skippers Scheme which means we are able to buy fresh, seasonal, sustainable fish and shellfish for our menus.

This weekend we have Devon crab, Cornish sardines, Wild sea bass, South coast samphire and turbot.

Tomato and pasta soup finished with pesto

Cornish sardine fillets pan fried in garlic and parsley butter

Button mushrooms in chive cream sauce served on truffle buttered toast

A simple whole dressed Devon crab with lemon mayonnaise

Cajun spiced warm chicken Caesar salad


Poached turbot fillet, samphire grass and lime butter sauce

Pan fried fillet of wild line caught sea bass, spinach, bacon and chilli jam

Aged local beef fillet, roast vine tomatoes, red wine, shallot and tarragon reduction

Honey glazed Barbary duck breast on five spice and soy jus

Cotswold pork tenderloin, apple puree, little Gloucester sausages and cider gravy

Oxford blue cheese tart, roast baby beets, runner bean chutney


White chocolate tart with raspberries and strawberries

Tunisian almond cake with Turkish delight ice cream
